Character in Focus: Yukiko Amagi

Origin

Yukiko Amagi, a princess like elegant character comes from the game Shin Megami Tensei or Persona 4. She is one of the playable characters in the game that confronts her shadow by accepting it for what it is and ultimately turning it to her goddess-like persona named Konohana Sakuya.


Character Design

Yukiko Amagi is a princess-like character with long black hair and graceful good looks. She is well mannered and very elegant and often times wear a kimono as she takes duties in their inn. As the sole heiress to the Amagi business, she is treated as a princess but often feels caged with the responsibility.

She wears a red sailor uniform and a checkered gray skirt just like Chie's with modest black stockings and leather school shoes. She is seen carrying a fan and uses it too in battle like her Persona Konohana Sakuya who has two giant fans.


Personality

Well mannered and obedient. Much like a princess. And like a princess, she feels trapped in her own castle and wishes to be saved. She views her good and closest friend Chie as the prince who will one day take her away.


Significance

She is one of the main characters in the story and is one of the characters that the main character can have a romantic relationship with at the end of the game.
