
The color blue symbolizes many things, one of them is peace, for the most parts, it symbolizes the calmness of water and the coldness of ice. For that reason, many artists succumb to this stereotyping and use the color to represent such meanings.
Kaito from Vocaloid
Kaito, also known as Vocaloid 00 is the first Vocaloid singer that had been introduced in the song making software. Along with the beautiful Meiko - the two have been released as the first two singers in the voice synthesizer. Kaito has the voice of a ‘bishounen’, literally translated as a ‘pretty boy’ in English while Meiko has the counterpart voice of a ‘bishoujo’ as a beautiful girl. Kaito is colored dominantly with blue – giving him the mascot object – ice or simply ice cream which is usually drawn along with him in many fan arts. Along with his hair that is blue in color, Kaito maintain a blue scarf and a white coat accentuated with blue designs and accessories.

The second knight of the threesome from Magic Knight Rayearth, Umi Ryuuzaki is the beautiful and reluctant hero. However, as the series progresses, Umi shows herself as a sensitive and reliable friend. Under the element of water - Umi is able to summon the water dragon Ceres and use the ability of water to fight in battles. Her hair, eyes, armor and clothes are usually blue in color as well, staying faithful to her nature as a water knight.
