
Eiichiro Oda
The father of the greatest pirate adventure manga in our time - Eiichiro Oda created the wildly popular manga One Piece which featured the character of Luffy D. Monkey, a pirate who aspires to find the long sough treasure One Piece.
Before he had written and illustrated One Piece, Eiichiro Oda had really aspired to become a manga artist since he was a kid. His biggest influence was Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. His break was in 1997 when he had created One Piece which is still running strongly ten years later and still counting. In 2007, along with his idol Akira Toriyama - he had written and illustrated the one shot Dragon Ball x One Piece: Cross Epoch.
Kubo Tite
Best known for his work in Bleach - before his big break in the world of shounen manga - Kubo Tite has authored several series and one shots. Some of these include the one shots Fire in the Sky, Ultra Unholy Hearted Machine, Rune Master Urara and Bad Shield United and the series Zombie Powder.
Masashi Kishimoto
Before Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto has authored a series that earned him awards as a beginner. Creating Karakuri, Masashi Kishimoto won the award for the Hopster as a promising beginner. Soon after he created Naruto which had grown into the wildly popular manga it is today with hundreds of chapters and still counting!
