Plot
xxxHolic is the anime adaptation of the manga series xxxHolic by CLAMP. The story follows the adventures of Kimihiro Watanuki, a young boy who is plagued by spirits who is later helped by the witch Yuuko Ichihara in exchange for him to work for her as he runs errands and the like.
Art
The art is eerie and meticulous, very much like all the mangas and series’ made and created by CLAMP. The characters wear meticulously detailed clothes as their ordinary clothing. The art is dark and gloomy, making the series get its mysterious feeling that it really aims to deliver.
Characters
The main characters consist of the dimensional witch Ichihara Yuuko, the spirit magnet Kimihiro Watanuki, the archer Doumeki and the bright and positive girl Himawari. The whole lot creates an interesting mix.
Over All
The anime is for the curious but isn’t for those who are easily creeped out. With splendid animation and interesting plot twists, it makes up for a great anime.
