Aliens All Over

UFO Baby

The idea of having extra terrestrials living out there in the vast universe is one of the many fantasies and wonders that sometimes tickle our fancy. Whether they are real or not – perhaps in the future we will know but for now, let’s be happy with these anime versions that don’t look as flashy as most people think they should!

Ruu from UFO Baby

He looks like a normal human baby but he really isn’t one. Things move upon his will and he has other powers that become very inconvenient when it comes to his human guardians. Welcome to the world of Kanata and Miyu, two childhood friends that have become unfriendly over time and distance. But due to some fortunate or unfortunate stroke of luck for the young Miyu - she is left upon the care of both Kanata and his father who so often leaves without ever saying so. As the two discuss their inconvenient living arrangements, a flash of light blinds them both and the baby alien emerges along with his caretaker and pet Wannya. The two is then treated as the baby’s parents much to their joy and inconvenience.

The Three Lights from Sailormoon Starlights

The Three Lights namely Seiya, Yaten and Taiki emerged as a very popular pop group, however, unknown to the people around them – the three actually hail from a planet far from Earth. The three came to the planet Earth in order to find their princess. As the war for the powers of the stars came to a rage, their princess had to flee and leave the planet in order to save herself and their people. The three believed that she had fled to Earth – a far planet that has yet to be invaded. As they sing as a popular pop band, the three ‘aliens’ wish to find their princess with their song.
